Parenting Support: Help For Life’s Biggest Role

“So much is asked of parents, and so little is given.” ― Virginia Satir

Being a parent is the biggest role in your life that you did not receive training for. At the hospital, new parents are given information on how to feed, bathe, and clothe a baby, but there is no manual for the next 18 years and the many years of parenting an adult child. As a parent, have you ever wondered if there was a way to get help? A way to find support? Answers as to why your child won’t listen? Or if there is a better way?

Thankfully, there are professionals we can turn to with questions about how our children develop, why they may not be listening, and ways to set boundaries to support and protect our children.

Enjoy this incredibly helpful video by Indianapolis-based parenting coach and psychotherapist, Michelle Gambs, about The Five Basic Needs of a Child.
