Erin Johnson, Owner & Attorney
Erin is committed to assisting her clients through every step of the legal process. She helps individual clients with estate planning, wills, trusts, estate administration and probate, and premarital agreements.
Background & Experience. Originally from Yorktown, Indiana, Erin holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University-Bloomington where she graduated with distinction, completed an honors designation, and participated in the Washington Leadership Program. Erin graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law as a Michael and Janie Maurer Fellow and having served Monroe County as a Domestic Relations Mediator at the Viola J. Taliaferro Family and Children Mediation Clinic. During her undergraduate and professional programs, Erin interned for then Congressman Mike Pence in both his home district and Capitol offices and worked as a clerk at a Bloomington law firm. Erin began her work as an attorney at Jensen & Associates in Indianapolis, which was a wonderful experience. She went on to work at another local law firm and then launched her own practice in 2017 where she enjoys providing individuals and families with a uniquely compassionate and quality legal service.
A Unique Approach. Using a strong sense of empathy, Erin considers it an honor to walk her clients through some of life’s most challenging situations. It is her goal to provide frequent communication, support, and preparation for all clients, no matter the type of case. Additionally, Erin utilizes her background in public affairs to educate her clients on the most recent changes to laws and policies. Erin is currently admitted to practice before all Indiana state courts, is a Registered Domestic Relations Mediator with the State of Indiana and a member of the Indiana State Bar Association.
Erin chooses to focus her practice on family issues, estate planning, and estate administration (probate) because she has a strong desire to help families. It can be challenging to take on an issue all alone, and Erin is happy to come alongside you to help you understand the complicated legal process. Erin and her supportive husband live in Carmel where they're active members in the life of their church community and you can often find them walking or hiking the area’s urban and nature trails with their two young daughters.

Jackie Delagrange, Associate Attorney
Jackie is an integral part of our team at Erin Johnson Legal focused on estate planning and providing a wealth of insight into family law matters. With a strong commitment to providing compassionate legal expertise, Jackie is driven by a belief that God put her on this planet to help people. And that belief is evident by the high level of genuine care and keen attention to detail she gives to every case.
Background & Experience. Prior to becoming an attorney, Jackie had an array of experiences working to support children and families in need giving her a deep understanding of the personal, familial and societal factors any family can find themselves adversely affected by, and it’s her caring spirit and strong sense of empathy that make her a great fit for our team.
Jackie also has a passion for helping young people find their calling across the helping professions and professions throughout the justice system. Over the last decade, she led a highly distinguished career as an award winning professor and department chair at Trine University. This teaching experience makes Jackie highly effective in educating clients on the legal process putting them at ease.
It was during her teaching career that she decided to obtain her law degree and successfully graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2017. In 2021, she proudly opened her own law firm deciding she wanted to help clients with estate planning needs, guardianships and Social Security Disability appeals.
A Unique Approach. We are now honored to have Jackie serving the clients of Erin Johnson Legal. Jackie works hard to make sure clients are comfortable from the beginning and throughout the legal process understanding that fears and tensions dissipate once everyone understands the legal process and next steps. She’s also fiercely committed to keeping client’s best interests at heart, drawing from the motto, “Treat everyone with respect and simply do the next right thing.” Thus, clients always receive respect, dedication and honesty from her, even when things are difficult.
Jackie works remotely from her new home in New Mexico where she recently moved with her husband and their four dogs for his work with the US Air Force. When not working, Jackie is an avid gardener/canner and enjoys many other hobbies including crafts, quilting, exploring national parks, and giving back to her community by way of animal rescue volunteering and serving on local nonprofit boards.
Dan Johnson, Business Manager
Small business is simply in the blood for Dan. Hailing from a family of small business owners, Dan has his own coaching practice where he supports business leaders across the country. As Erin’s husband, he has been helping out Erin Johnson Legal behind the scenes since its inception and you’ll likely connect with Dan if you’re an estate planning client as Dan enjoys joining Erin as a witness for will signings.
